‘To discuss business’: food and drink industry lobbying in the UK

A Discussion Paper prepared for the Food Research Collaboration in June 2022, examining how food businesses lobbied the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), and the Department for International Trade (DIT) between January 2020 and September 2021. The paper explores how UK lobbying disclosures might be improved along the lines of rules in Ireland and Canada.
