Understanding the politics of food systems

People are increasingly interested in food from the farm to the fork. Where is our food from? How is it farmed, processed and transported? How do our eating patterns impact our health, the environment and other people's livelihoods?

The way we consider policies relating to food has radically shifted in the past years. Food is no longer just about supply and demand, and food policy is not simply a concern for governments. Contemporary food systems are dynamic, diverse and highly interconnected, where policymakers, advocates, non-governmental organisations, regulators and producers all have a role to play.

Antony helps clients to better understand the interconnected politics of the modern food system, consider all of the relevant actors and interests that shape food policies, and effectively communicate their priorities and concerns.
